1978	Jo & Wiel Janssen créent une gaufrerie à Schinnen.
1987	Jo & Wiel Janssen vendent la société à Hazlewood plc et restent actifs comme directeurs.
1993	Wafel Janssen BV construit une nouvelle usine à Nuth avec une capacité de 9.000 tonnes / an.
1994	Jo & Wiel démissionnent et Dirk Drubbel est nommé directeur général.
2000	Augmentation de la capacité à 12.000 tonnes / an.
2001	Greencore plc acquérit Hazlewood plc et vend Wafel Janssen BV à Bakkersland BV
2002	Augmentation de la capacité à 14.500 tonnes / an.
2007	Bakkersland BV vend Wafel Janssen BV à Gilde Participaties.
2009	Dirk Drubbel prend sa retraite à 66 ans et Adrie Schrieks est nommé directeur général. La capacité est augmenté à 17.000 tonnes.
